Senior Portraits at the National Gallery of Art | DC MD VA Portrait & Wedding Photographer

I know having a session can be scary, you’re in front of a camera with a person you likely just met, in a new place. But that’s why I think it’s important to make people feel comfortable. With all my clients I like to find a common ground, I truly believe as humans we can all connect on something. It helps us feel more comfortable and when you are more comfortable, your portraits are better!

Well, let me say this. I am a feminist. I am all about the social, political and economic equality of the sexes. (Thank you Bey) So when I met women who are educated, independent, hilarious AND gorgeous, it makes my freaking day. Again, DC with the crazy weather, we had to schedule our session indoors, and of course we picked my favorite indoor location, right in the heart of DC. The National Gallery of Art with all of it’s creamy light and open spaces, it makes for the best location to keep dry and still get the shot.
