Military Promotion at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC | DC MD VA Event Photographer
We have lived in the DC area for about 4 years now. And one of my favorite things is that I get to photograph these epic ceremonies in even more epic locations. I mean, it truly is unique to Washington DC to be able to promote or retire in one of these historic sites.
Lincoln Memorial is also just one of my favorite places in the world to be. I just like sitting on the steps and people watching and lucky for me it is the site of many of my jobs.
I was asked to photograph this ceremony for the most wonderful family and I was excited! And boy, did they deliver. We even had a bit of a crowd of onlookers and other photographers trying to get a cool shot. Because let’s be honest, this is just cool.
