Stepping into the beautiful venue of the Arts Club of Washington, I knew immediately that C&S's wedding was going to be something special. The historic DC architecture served as the perfect backdrop for their love story to unfold.
As I arrived at Hotel Lombardy to capture the bride and groom getting ready, the soft window light created a magical atmosphere. I couldn't wait to capture every moment of their special day.
When C&S shared their first look in front of the stunning DC buildings, it was like watching a scene from a romantic movie come to life. The love and affection between them was evident in every glance, every touch.
Moving inside for intimate portraits with family and friends, I was struck by the sense of joy and togetherness that surrounded us. The warmth and love in the room was electric, and I made sure to capture every smile, every shared moment.
As the ceremony began in the courtyard of the Arts Club, the setting sun created a breathtaking backdrop for C&S's vows. The music of the guitarist filled the air, adding an extra layer of emotion to an already beautiful moment.
With the sun dipping below the horizon, dinner began inside the Arts Club, bathed in the soft glow of candlelight.
And then came the moment that everyone had been waiting for - C&S's first dance. Surrounded by art and love, they moved together in perfect harmony, a true reflection of their deep connection. Speeches were made, laughter filled the room, and soon the dance floor was alive with movement and music.
Capturing these timeless moments is what I love most about being a wedding photographer. To freeze in time the love, joy, and connection that fills a room on such a special day is a privilege that I don't take lightly.
C&S's wedding was a celebration of love, of family, of friendship. It was a day that will be remembered for years to come, and I am grateful to have been a part of it.
